Welcome to Next Skin. These terms explain how our website and store work, and what you can expect from us when you shop. Please read them before placing an order.

1. Who we are

This website nextskin.com.au is operated by Next Skin, based at 39 Parkes Road, Collaroy Plateau NSW 2097, Australia. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Next Skin, and "you" means the person visiting the site or buying from us.

2. Accepting these terms

By visiting our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms, along with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Shipping Policy. If you disagree with any part, please don't use the site. We may update these terms from time to time, and the version published on this page is the one that applies.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian needs to place the order on your behalf. By ordering, you confirm that the details you give us are accurate and complete.

4. Products and pricing

We take care to describe and photograph our products accurately, though colours may look slightly different on your screen. All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable, unless shown otherwise at checkout. Prices and availability can change without notice. If we spot a pricing error after you order, we'll contact you to confirm the correct price or offer you a refund.

5. Orders

When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy. We confirm by email once we've accepted it. We may decline or cancel an order for reasons such as limited stock, a pricing error, or suspected fraud. If we cancel after you've paid, we'll refund you in full.

6. Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through our secure payment providers. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. We never see or store your full card details. Discount codes must be used at checkout and can't be applied after an order is placed.

7. Shipping and delivery

We ship within Australia and to selected countries overseas. Delivery times are estimates and can be affected by carriers, weather or customs. Full details are in our Shipping Policy. Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us.

8. Returns and refunds

Our Refund Policy sets out how returns, exchanges and refunds work. In short, you can return unused and unopened items within 30 days of delivery, and faulty or damaged items are always covered.

9. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.

10. Skincare and product use

The information on our website is general and is not medical advice. Our products are cosmetic and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. Before using a product for the first time, please do a patch test on a small area of skin and wait 24 hours. Stop using the product and seek advice from a doctor if you notice irritation, redness or discomfort. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a skin condition or are under medical care, please check with your health professional before use. Always read the label and the ingredients list, and keep products out of reach of children. Results vary from person to person.

11. Intellectual property

Everything on this site belongs to Next Skin or our licensors. That includes the logo, photos, product descriptions, text and design. You're welcome to view and share links to our pages for personal use. Copying, reproducing or using our content commercially needs our written permission first.

12. Using our website

Please use the site lawfully and respectfully. Don't try to interfere with its security, send harmful code, or use it to collect data from other users. We may suspend access if these terms are breached.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or our products. Where the law lets us limit our liability for a breach of a consumer guarantee, we limit it to replacing the goods, supplying equivalent goods, repairing the goods, or paying the cost of doing so. This clause does not exclude any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

14. Privacy

We respect your privacy and handle your personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how we use it.

15. Links to other sites

Our site may link to third party websites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or practices.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of New South Wales, and you agree to submit to their jurisdiction.
